Description:

This is a full day trip to the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, covering the sites of the traditional Pisaq Market, Pisaq Inca Town, Ollantaytambo Archeological Site and Chinchero Inca Site.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Taray View Point - Pisaq - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Chinchero - Cusco

We pick you up from your hotel at determined time “Normally at 8:00 am”, we drive on the way to Pisaq on a private tourist bus, Pisaq is small town 45 minutes away from Cusco, but previously we will do some breaks like at the view point of Taray where you will be impressed having a very nice landscape of the Sacred Valley and its magnificent river then the next stop at AwanaKancha “Weaving Center”.

Upon arrival at Pisaq, you will have like 30 minutes visiting the Pisaq Traditional Market then we will continue driving to Pisaq Inka Site where you will have a 45 minutes tour, the touristic tickets are used here.

The next point will be in a tourist restaurant at Urubamba, after an hour of lunch we will continue our trip on the way to Ollantaytambo “Living Inka Town” where you also will have a guided tour for 1 hour approximately.

Finally, we will go to Chinchero which is one of the highest town of the Sacred Valley, there we will visit the Colonial Church and the archaeological complex then we will return to Cusco arriving at 7:00 pm approximately.

Option 1: Pisaq - Urubamba "Lunch" - Ollantaytambo - Chinchero

This option is a full-day journey through Peru’s most historic and scenic sites. Starting from Cusco, it includes visits to Pisac, with its famous market and Inca ruins, Ollantaytambo, an ancient fortress with stunning terraces and a huge boulders Sun Temple, and Chinchero, known for the colonial church and traditional weaving. Travelers enjoy breathtaking Andean landscapes, agricultural terraces, and local culture. There is a mid stop in Urubamba, place to have a delicious lunch, buffet is what most of them serve.

Option 2: Chinchero - Moray - Maras - Urubamba "Lunch" - Ollantaytambo

The second option Sacred Valley tour explores the stunning Andean landscapes and rich Inca heritage of Chinchero, Moray, Maras, and Ollantaytambo. Starting from Cusco, the tour involves Chinchero, famous for its colonial church and traditional weaving. Next, Moray’s circular terraces, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, showcase advanced farming techniques. Nearby, the Maras Salt Mines, with thousands of salt pools cascading down the mountainside. Finally, Ollantaytambo, an Inca fortress with massive terraces and a charming town. A lunch mid stop in Urubamba is also part of the program.
