The tour begins with the pick-up from your respective hotel at the predetermined time usually 5:00 in the morning, we will take a trip of 3 and a half hours approximately in a private tourist transport towards the district of Mollepata place where we will supply breakfast and where we begin our walk of approximately 7 hours until arriving at the town of Soraypampa.
This will be one of the most difficult days of the whole tour because we will have to ascend to the highest point of the route "Salkantay Pass "4600 masl" the walk to the top lasts approximately 3 hours and after a short rest we will descend towards the eye of the jungle, there we can feel the change of weather quite abrupt so it is essential to take some coca leaves for altitude sickness, we will arrive at Huayrac, place where we will have lunch for the lapse of an hour and a half, then we will continue with our walk towards Chaullay where we will spend the second night.
This day is basically characterized by the amount of vegetation that can be seen, plantations of coca, tea, coffee, fruit trees and wildlife will be part of our walk along the 6 hours of hiking to the village called La Playa where we will have a delicious lunch then the transport for 1.30 hours to Hidroelectrica, after that we catch the train to Machupicchu Town or Aguas Calientes, there we have a nice hotel where to stay.
